Seamless integration to QuickBooks

A retail solution is not complete without seamless integration to QuickBooks. Retail Point of Sale has seamless integration with QuickBooks inventory, customer accounts, sales assistants and chart of accounts. Choose from QuickBooks Accounting, Plus, Pro, Premier or Enterprise.

Manage your stock with ease

Retail Point of Sale manages all types of inventory. You can track sales and stock on hand for a particular item, convert, bundle and sell inventory in different units of measure such as kilos or metres, and even support both service and physical items, for example haircuts and apples. Retail Point of Sale Professional gives you total flexibility to manage all types of inventory.

Easy currency conversion

With Retail POS Professional, you can quickly convert foreign currency to the local currency when tendering a transaction. Simply, create a Currency Conversion key with your preset currency of choice to convert foreign currency to local currency. Retail POS Professional allows you to create as many Currency Conversion keys as you may require, so you will always be prepared to do business no matter what the customers' currency.

Easy table management and kitchen order printing

Designed for all retail environments the Graphical Table Manager helps to better organise table utilisation and seating arrangements to maximise cash flow and turnover. Combined with Kitchen Order Printing you will have an increased capacity for customer orders and improved profitability.

Create a loyalty program for your customers

Quickly and easily manage points-based customer loyalty programs by calculating points accumulated by each customer's purchase to help increase customer loyalty and repeat purchases. Plus, points can also be used in combination with cash so customers can use as many or as little points as they want to make a purchase, or redeem for a gift voucher.

Store up to 10 barcodes against a product

Store a master product barcode in QuickBooks and up to ten barcodes per related product within Retail Point of Sale. This feature enables rapid creation of multiple barcodes for related products, saving you time and money.

User and role based security features

Retail Point of Sale security features help you manage sensitive transactions such as refunds and discounts by enabling you to create user roles and establish user privileges for your employees, helping you to ensure user access and security of your business is tracked and maintained with ease and control.

Appointment Manager

The Appointment Manager helps you to set up appointments using your QuickBooks Customer List or the Retail POS Contact List, print appointment lists or add new contacts on the fly. Used as a standalone function or integrated with the Table Manager, the Appointment Manager is perfect for professionals from any industry from busy hair stylists, bridal wear designers to restaurateurs, to help better track their day.

Enhanced Table Manager

Designed for all retail environments the Graphical Table Manager helps to better organise table utilisation and seating arrangements. Users will now be able to see the name of the day on reservations and also see the date/day in red if it is the current day, to help improve staff efficiency while also maximising cash flow and turnover.

Enhanced cash out

With the enhanced Cash Out feature, users now have the ability to enter in the customers' desired cash out amount which is then automatically added in to the total – no more fumbling for the calculator during rush hour.

Pre-set memo function

Reckon Retail POS Pre-Set Memo function allows users to publicise important or promotional messages to customers on items such as receipts.

The Retail Point of Sale range operates within a Windows XP Home/ Vista Home Basic/Vista Home Premium/7 Home Premium single machine environment, however it does not operate within a Windows XP Home/Vista Home Basic/Vista Home Premium/7 Home Premium networked environment.

If you are currently using Point of Sale 2007/08 or earlier versions, you will need to upgrade to Retail Point of Sale Professional 2011/12 to continue using your database. Retail Point of Sale Lite 2011/12 can only upgrade files from earlier versions of Retail Point of Sale Lite.
