Data Recovery : Data conversion : Password Removal : Application Form
Data recovery is a service provided to customers that have experienced
data corruption on their Quicken or QuickBooks data file.
A file that has become damaged will typically have symptoms similar to the
following.
- The file cannot be opened by the program
- The program crashes with an error message when the user performs
typical operations such as viewing detail information, editing records,
generating reports, etc
- The program displays inconsistent information
- What kinds of data files can be recovered?
Quicken NZ will provide data recovery services for all versions of
QuickBooks NZ version 5 and above. Data can usually be recovered from damaged backup disks (floppy 3.5inch media)
that are no longer able to be read by the Windows operating system.
If you have experienced a hard disk crash, you may require the services
of companies specializing in retrieval of data from damaged hardware before you can make use of our Data Services.
Data Conversion Service Accountants Copy QBA data files can be converted to standard
QBW files with full functionality. An Upgrade service is available to convert older versions of Quicken and QuickBooks
to the latest version for the same product.
Password Removal is a service provided to customers who have forgotten, lost or otherwise no longer have access to the Admin password for their data file in order to use the program. Passwords will be removed from currently supported versions and retired versions of Quicken, QuickBooks and Quicken Payroll. Reckon will provide data conversion and password removal services only for supported versions of the products, or if you are upgrading from a retired version to a currently supported version.
Passwords will be removed only. The original text that comprised the password is not revealed.
What is the typical turnaround time for password removal jobs?
There are two pricing tiers available for Password Removal services.
For Standard Password Removal, please allow up to 3 business days for completion and return of the file(s).
For Express Password Removal, the service delivery date is for the next business day.
The Service Delivery Date for Express Password Removal will be determined by the date and time Quicken NZ receives the data file. If all the Customer's data and the Completed Order Form are received by Reckon no later than 2:00 P.M. Sydney time, then the service time starts on that date. If the Customer's data and the Completed Order Form are received by Reckon after 2:00 P.M. Sydney time, the Service Delivery Date will be extended one business day.
