Gen-I Communications is a Whangarei based telecommunications business specialising in the design, supply, installation and support of telephone systems and network cabling.

We have been using QuickBooks for a number of years now and have found it an excellent application for our needs.  The great thing about QuickBooks is that it encompasses all our core business activities into one application.  For example:

  • We are able to create quotes to customers and email them directly to the customer.
  • Once we receive an order we can create sales orders and assign that job to an engineer. Using custom reports we have created engineer queues and these jobs are emailed directly to the engineers on their PDAs. This ensures rapid response to our customer service requests.
  • Stock control is controlled from within QuickBooks and purchase orders are generated directly from QuickBooks.
  • Invoices are generated from the completed jobs and emailed or mailed to the customer.
  • Service history is a breeze to access.

In this day and age where information is king and the time taken to access such information can be significant, it is refreshing to find an application that allows you to control your entire business from one place.

QuickBooks is extremely good value for money and provides real value to our business.  Our QuickBooks was setup and is supported by Karina at Sudburys.  Sudburys add significantly more value by showing us how to get the maximum return from this incredible product.

I would highly recommend a Sudburys supplied and supported QuickBooks application for your business.
